This is a reminder that we are holding a Rally tomorrow on 9/14 across the Pullman, Vancouver, and Puyallup campuses! Keep reading for more details, and RSVP for the rallies here.
Rally Tomorrow
Date: Wednesday, September 14th
Time: 12:00pm
Place: Pullman – outside the CUB; Vancouver – outside the Fountain; Puyallup – outside the Pavillion
At the end of last semester, we came together and filed for the recognition of our union. Our pressure on the WSU administration since then has been working, resulting in important progress in our organizing efforts. For example, it appears that WSU admin might no longer be challenging the eligibility of Research Assistants to be included in our union – a huge step toward more quickly becoming certified! But the fight’s not over – for this reason we will be coming together tomorrow, Wednesday 9/14, at noon on the Pullman, Vancouver, and Puyallup campuses!
This event will not only provide a chance to talk about the progress we are making; it will also be a time for us to push that progress forward. To this end, we will discuss opportunities to get involved and have conversations about our future of building a better and more equitable WSU. Plus, there will be free food and drink so we can continue to build solidarity and community across the WSU system.
Make sure to come along tomorrow and bring as many folks from your department as possible so that we can fortify our movement in our upcoming push for certification – you can register for the rally here. See you there!
